wheel thrown construction with some slab construction for the bottom

these two pieces were glazed with a primary colors stippled underglaze inside, an orange underglaze on the exterior, and a nutmeg overglaze. multiple pieces were combined to create this piece. the container has both carved impressions and embellished shapes with a thick slip type mixture to give it texture. the knob is also a thrown piece attached to the thrown lid, and created with a pulled and collaring/necking technique
