Design Competition Entry: SUN AT SCHOOL

During this time of the pandemic, there's still a glimmer of optimism for students to continue learning and their studies but in a different format. The Community Design Collaborative set out to meet this need, through their Design Assistance In Demand (A.I.D.) initiative. Although this rendition of Design A.I.D. was unlike their previous efforts, it was a design ideas competition seeking out potential solutions for outdoor learning spaces that could be implemented for schools or other community learning programs. Our entry for the Design A.I.D.: Outdoor Learning Spaces Design Ideas Competition, and now published in their Design Guide, is SUN AT SCHOOL.
